SCOTTSDALE, Arizona – Bret Greenwood was recently named as the General Manager of Eagle Mountain Golf Club in Fountain Hills, Arizona. As general manager, Greenwood is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of golf course operations including staff training, tournaments, food and beverage operations, merchandising, marketing and budgeting.

Greenwood is one of the senior managers with OB Sports having been with the golf management company for over ten years, during which time, he held similar management positions at Oasis Golf Club and The Palms Golf Club both in Mesquite, Nev.; Cimarron Golf Resort in Palm Springs, Calif. and most recently The Duke at Rancho El Dorado in Maricopa, Ariz. Under his direction, The Duke at Rancho El Dorado’s clubhouse was honored as one of the "Best New Clubhouse in the Country," by Golf Inc. magazine and the golf course was ranked the "#1 Player Friendly Course in Phoenix/Scottsdale", in Golf Tips magazine’s 2006 Travel Annual.
Prior to joining OB Sports, Greenwood held leadership positions at a variety of other upscale golf clubs such as: The Pointe Hilton Golf Club on South Mountain in Phoenix, Ariz.; Gold Canyon Golf Club in Gold Canyon, Ariz.; Stonecreek Golf Club in Phoenix, Ariz. and The Phoenician Golf Club in Phoenix, Ariz.
Greenwood earned his PGA Class A certification in 1984 and continues to develop professionally by participating in the PGA Southwest Section’s continuing education seminars and programs.
