100% Of Proceeds For Annual Golf Outing To Benefit Phoenix Children’s Hospital
Phoenix, AZ – July 12, 2007â?¦JW Marriott Wildfire Golf Club, one of the premier golf resort destinations in Arizona, today announced the property will host its 6th annual Children’s Miracle Network Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, August 20, 2007. All of the proceeds from this year’s tournament will benefit Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
The 2007 event marks the 6th consecutive year that Wildfire Golf Club will host this charitable event, as participants will have the opportunity to tee it up on two of the Valley’s most beautiful golf courses, the Palmer Signature Course and the Faldo Championship Course, while supporting a very worthy cause.
Registration and breakfast will run from 5:30 a.m. to 6:45 a.m., followed by a 7:00 a.m. golf outing with a shotgun start. Golf will be followed by an awards luncheon in the Wildflower Ballroom, where prizes will be awarded for the "best" golfers on each course, raffles will be conducted, and a silent auction will take place.
The cost to participate in this charity golf tournament is $60 per Marriott associate and $75 per non- Marriott associate, which will include breakfast, cart, range balls, lunch and prizes. The deadline to register is August 15, 2007, with a $15 late fee if received any day after. Participants will enjoy a day of golf and 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
"We hope this year’s tournament will be even more successful than years past, and hope to surpass last year’s total of almost $60,000 raised," said John Wright, Director of Golf, Wildfire Golf Club. "It is wonderful to get the local community together to raise money for such a worthy cause."
