ENDICOTT, NY ~ R.W. Eaks won his first Champions Tour event this past Sunday using a Fisher Golf putter that he picked up at the First Tee Invitational last September at Pebble Beach.
Eaks, since using the Fisher TALON TS-3 4-Speed putter, has carded 12 top-10 finishes, including five second-place finishes and his first 3-shot victory at the En-Joie C.C. Sunday.
This brings Eaks’ earnings for the year toover $1,000,000 and nearly $1,400,000 since the Fisher putter went into his bag 10 months ago.
Success came quickly for Eaks after switching to the Fisher Golf putter last fall. He finished 11th in his first tournament using the Fisher putter, then followed up with a 7th place finish and a 2nd place finish in the following weeks. He has been on a confident roll ever since. The Fisher putter, and Eaks’ keen ball-striking ability, enormous distance and positive attitude have proven to be a winning combination.
"We knew that our latest invention, the TALON 4-SPEED putters, were going to completely change the course of our company," said Dr. Dale Fisher, the company’s founder and president. "Thanks to R.W. Eaks we have a great victory on the books. R.W. has been knocking on the door for months and I sincerely congratulate him on his first Champions Tour Victory. I am sure that this is the first of many more to come. This is big day for all of us. We are so very proud to have R.W. using our putter. He is a great champion."
About Fisher Putters
"The World’s First 4-SPEED Putter"
Fisher Golf, now in its 15th year of producing precision made putters, has over 10 patents with multiple patents pending on "Calibrated Polymer Insert Technology," that was invented by Dr. Dale Fisher, the company’s founder and president. The Fisher TALON putters allow the golfer to dial in "feel" and "distance Control" using our multi-patented, "Reversible Face Plate" technology. The new TALONS offer four speeds: softer, soft, firm, and firmer inserts called "Kevflex." Each insert is color coded. Prior to the round the golfer can choose the right speed for the playing conditions that day, whether the greens are fast, slow, grainy and so on.
"Metal face putters just do not provide you with the feedback and feel that our KevFlex insert putters do," says Fisher. "Our sales have increased dramatically since we have introduced our new 4-speed line of putters both domestically and well as Internationally.
Fisher Golf, headquartered in Fountain Valley, CA, has been an industry leader in golf putter technology since 1993. The company designs and creates golf putters to provide the best putting experience possible with the Calibrated Multi-Speed Insert Technology. Dr. Dale Fisher patented Kevflex material; a polymer derivative that offers calibrated feel and superior speed control when used as a face insert on putters. The company currently holds ten U.S. patents directly related to Kevflex/Polymer Insert Technology, with multiple domestic and international patents pending. The company’s patented Insert Technology is licensed worldwide to many of the industry’s leading golf manufacturers.
