The Harmon Brothers Teaching Summit brings together some of the best and most groundbreaking golf teaching minds in the world, and pros and amateurs are invited to learn and enjoy.
Las Vegas, NV—The Harmon Brothers Teaching Summit (www.harmonbrothersteachingsummit.com ), to be held November 4-7, 2007, in Las Vegas, has quickly become recognized as one of the pre-eminent golf think tanks, where the world’s best golf teachers—both physical and mental—come together to share their knowledge. The Harmon Brothers, Craig, Butch and Bill, are recognized as three of the finest golf instructors in all of golf, and are thrilled to spearhead the summit. Other golf minds that are scheduled to appear include Dr. Bob Rotella, Dr. Greg Rose, Mike Bender, Ken Morton, Peter Cowen and others to be named. Combined, the instructors have and continue to work with some of the best players in the world including Adam Scott, Phil Mickelson, Dottie Pepper, Brad Faxon, Jeff Sluman, Jay Haas, Fred Couples and many others.
For the second year, the PGA of America has given accreditation to the event, and pros who attend will receive 12 Minimum Standard Requirements (MSR) points. And, again, amateur golfers are welcome to attend the summit and soak up the golf knowledge that will be presented.
"It’s very rewarding for us to again have acceptance and accreditation from the PGA of America for MSR points," says Butch Harmon, founder of the Butch Harmon School of Golf at Rio Secco Golf Club, and recently ranked by his peers as the top golf instructor in a Golf Digest poll. "The list of people that we have headlining the summit is a who’s who of mental and physical golf instruction, and whether you are an amateur or golf professional, you will walk away from this interactive conference with new found knowledge, and tangible drills and ideas that will improve your game or teaching abilities.
"We want to introduce amateur golfers of all golf skill levels to some of the best instructors in the game of golf. There is no other venue in the country where golfers are afforded the opportunity to listen and interact with top instructors who share a passion for the game, but who have different philosophies when it comes to the golf swing or how to improve. What that means is that there will be a philosophy that matches each person’s swing."
Summit events will include teaching seminars, a golf outing at Rio Secco Golf Club, an opening cocktail party hosted by the instructors, a final question and answer session, and a closing reception. A two-day, golf demo on the Rio Secco range will also be held in conjunction with the summit. The instructional seminars are designed for golfers of all skill levels, from professionals who want to improve their teaching abilities to amateurs who crave more information about the golf swing.
Easy, all-inclusive event packages are available and include four nights at the Flamingo Hotel, all of the events, complimentary lunches, teaching materials, a DVD of the seminars, and other items. The cost is $2,895. Pros bringing amateurs should contact the summit for special pricing incentives, as they will receive a substantial discount.
