LAURINBURG, N.C. â?¦ Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced today that, according to a 2007 Darrell Survey of grip usage, the majority of touring golfers who played in the 136th Open Championship depended on Golf Pride® grips.
Golf Pride grips were used by more than three-quarters of the field who played in the 2007 Open Championship golf tournament held at Carnoustie Golf Links in Scotland from July 19-22.
In fact, 120 of the 156 total golfers used Golf Pride grips on the majority of clubs in their bag. By comparing survey data with championship results, 25 of the top 30 finishers chose Golf Pride grips to weather the conditions at Carnoustie.
