With Locations in Orlando, FL, Palm Desert, CA, Atlantic City, NJ, and Marco Island, FL, Faldo Golf Institute Now Gives Students Innovative Online Video Instruction
Orlando, Fla. – July 25, 2007 – Marriott Golf (www.marriottgolf.com), one of the world’s premier golf operators and the world’s largest resort golf management company, today announced that Faldo Golf Institute (FGI) by Marriott®, one of the nation’s leading golf schools, has debuted an innovative online alumni clubhouse, complete with online video instruction, at www.gofaldo.com. The new program enables FGI students to extend their golf school program by viewing their golf swing online, complete with instructor analysis.
Now, when golfers take a private lesson, full-swing session, 2-Day or 3-Day golf school, at any one of the four FGI locations, they are offered the opportunity to view their swing analysis online, instead of going home with a VHS tape or CD traditionally offered from golf schools.
With locations in Orlando, FL, Palm Desert, CA, Atlantic City, NJ, and Marco Island, FL, Faldo Golf Institute by Marriott provides instruction to thousands of golfers each year, through a combination of hourly lessons and multi-day golf school packages. The new online swing analysis program provides students, which FGI calls Alumni, with an email link to view their swing, while also providing them with their own online "Locker" through the Alumni Clubhouse at www.gofaldo.com. In the near future, the clubhouse will allow FGI instructors to interactively communicate with students, as well as provide students with an online library of tips, drills and more, following their golf school experience.
"This interactive instructional experience is a tremendous asset for our students, as we can not only work with them in-person, but interactively communicate together and provide a wealth of information, following their golf school experience," said Chip Koehlke, Director of Instructional Programs, Faldo Golf Institute by Marriott. "The ability to view their swing online is a great added value to our students’ instruction investment."
Faldo Golf Institute by Marriott, which combines the teaching philosophy of Six-Time Major Champion Nick Faldo with the world class service and hospitality of Marriott International, provides an environment for golfers of all skill levels to improve their fundamentals and enjoyment of the game. FGI, which offers an assortment of game improvement programs and specialized schools to accommodate male and female golfers of every age, features a team of Faldo Certified Instructors at each location. The maximum instructor/student ration is 4:1, and the curriculum is designed to ensure that the instructor adjusts the pace and delivery of a session, matching each student’s ability to learn.
