Waltham, Mass, July 27, 2007 – When it comes to comfort in golf shoes, Etonic has been the industry leader for over 60 years. The RCS is a proprietary TPR compound engineered for superior cushioning and energy return. RCS, located in the midsole of the shoe, gives golfers longer lasting cushioning with every step. The material cushions the golfer from impact and returns energy as they step forward. The RCS is featured in two new G>SOK golf shoes for 2008.
The new R- SERIES GT featuring the RCS is a full grain leather upper with soft leather linings combined with GORE-TEX® materials to provide superior waterproof protection and maximum breathability. The non-cleated outsole features the popular Multi-Zone Traction Systemâ?¢ by Goodyear with extended flex zones, longer stability bars, and additional tri-directional pyramid turf grips for superior traction. The TPU stability shank provides added arch support and lateral stability. The moisture wicking, anti- microbial, extra comfort poliyouâ?¢ footbed is removable.
The R-Series GT is available for men in one pattern and four colorways: white/black, black/black, white/redstone brown and white/maple brown. The size run is 7- 14 medium and 7 – 13 wide. The suggested retail for this two-year waterproof guarantee shoe is $150.00.
G>SOK RCS has all the features of the non-cleated G>SOK originals plus the new RCS. The shoe comes in two casual styles with three colorways each: white/black/cedar, brown/tan, white/bomber/redstone and black/white/tan, black/brown, white/bomber/brown. The G>SOK RCS is backed by a two-year waterproof warranty and the suggested retail is $125.00.
The R-Series GT and G>SOK RCS will be available at golf shops and golf specialty shops in October.
