CARLSBAD, Calif. (August 1, 2007) -adidas Golf, a brand of the TaylorMade-adidas Golf Company, has been selected by the PGA of America as an official licensee for the 2007 and 2008 PGA Championships as well as the 2008 Ryder Cup.

As a result, adidas Golf’s innovative ClimaCool® apparel, featuring CoolMax® technology, will be sold in the merchandise tents at each tournament, including the 2007 PGA Championship at Southern Hills in Tulsa, Oklahoma, from August 6-12. Highlighting the options is the adidas Golf ClimaCool Motion Mesh Polo in clementine and the Motion Engineered Polo in kiwi/graphite. These shirts were the styles worn by Sergio Garcia during the final two rounds of The Open Championship at Carnoustie; he will also wear them during the upcoming PGA Championship at Southern Hills Country Club.

"We operate in a very competitive industry and we feel privileged to be the exclusive apparel licensee for these prestigious PGA of America events," said Bob Maggiore, adidas Golf senior director of brand marketing. "adidas Golf apparel is the most trusted brand by PGA Tour professionals and we are proud to bring the same elite performance technologies to our large consumer base."

adidas Golf ClimaCool custom apparel to be sold at the 2008 PGA Championship at Oakland Hills Country Club, and at the 2008 Ryder Cup Matches at Valhalla Golf Club will complement the adidas Golf Fall/Winter 2008 clothing lines.

*Apparel brand claim based on cumulative branded apparel count for 2007 on the PGA Tour.
