July 23, 2007, Guntersville, AL: Christina Kim, one of the most popular LPGA golfers, has signed an endorsement agreement with the exclusive licensee of Sunderland of Scotland, Daymond Willis Holdings, Inc., CFO Phillip Daymond announced today.
The agreement is effective immediately and Christina adorned several Sunderland items during the Evian Masters in Evian-les-Bains, France. "I have admired and worn Sunderland for a long time," said Kim, who has recently undergone a serious makeover, losing 25 pounds since last season. "I have always enjoyed color and fashion, now DWH has remade Sunderland and I can have both. The technology they have brought to these garments is really phenomenal and is superior to anything else I have worn."
"We are excited that Christina will be representing us and will be able to increase the knowledge of other LPGA players about our products," said Daymond. "People enjoy watching Christina because she has an outgoing and fiery personality. I am sure that everyone knows that if she did not believe in our products, she would not have become part of our team."
Since turning pro in 2003, the 23-year-old Kim has recorded two tour victories, became the youngest player in LPGA history to earn $1 million in her career, recorded her second-career hole-in-one during the final round of the Weetabix Women’s British Open, and she was a member of the victorious U.S. Solheim Cup Team, posting a 2-1-1 record in her first Solheim Cup appearance.
