Nine Srixon Professionals To Tee It Up In FedExCup Playoffs
ATLANTA, August 20, 2007 – Srixon’s Tim Petrovic had his best finish of the year at the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro, N.C. He fired rounds of 68-65-68-67 to finish 20-under-par and T-2nd.
Petrovic, who led the field in putts per round with the Srixon Z-URS golf ball, sank an 82-foot eagle putt on Friday – the fourth longest putt on tour this year. He fired all week at the flag with his Srixon I-302 irons, and new Srixon WG-706 wedges, recording 25 birdies for the tournament. Petrovic earned over $370,000 for second place and heads to the first event in the FedExCup playoffs this week in Westchester, NY. He is currently 82nd in the FedExCup point standings.
Also, making it into the FedExCup playoffs are Srixon staff professionals Jim Furyk (3rd in points), John Rollins (16th), Robert Allenby (27th), Henrik Stenson (31st), Tim Clark (36th), Brian Davis (74th), Tom Lehman (86th), Alex Cejka (122nd).
