Hugely Popular Fairway Wood Model on the PGA Tour is Now Available to the Public
CARLSBAD, Calif. (August 21, 2007) – The TaylorMade Golf Company has introduced a third fairway wood to the new Burner line of metalwoods, the Burner TP.
What helps differentiate Burner TP fairway woods from Burner Steel and Burner Ti fairway woods is the Burner TP’s pear-shaped steel clubhead, semi-deep clubface and compact footprint, which creates an appearance at address that tour pros prefer.
Burner TP fairway woods are equipped with a SuperFast RE*AXâ?¢ TP 75- gram shaft with .335" tip, which combines a high kickpoint with low torque to promote a lower, penetrating trajectory that skilled players find easier to control. Additionally, Burner TP fairway woods incorporate SuperFast crown markings that make them easier to aim, increasing both confidence and accuracy.
The Burner TP is already one of the most popular fairway wood models on the PGA Tour, having been put into play more than 150 times already this year.*
The Burner TP fairway wood is available in Tour Spoon (13°), Tour 3- wood (15°) and Tour 5-wood (18°). Burner TP fairway woods are immediately available at retail at an MSRP of $295 per club with graphite shaft and $240 with steel shaft.
* Darrell Survey equipment counts ranging from the 2007 Arnold Palmer Invitational to the 2007 Canadian Open.
