NORWALK, Conn. – NORWALK, Conn. – More than 100 of the hottest golf fashion companies, two designer roundtables and the popular "What’s Hot in Apparel" seminar combine to put golf fashion squarely in the 2007 PGA Fall Expo spotlight at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino Convention Center in Las Vegas, Sept. 11-12.
Thousands of prominent PGA Golf Professionals and golf retailers from influential facilities such as Pinehurst Resort, Pebble Beach, Riviera Country Club and Bali Hai are set to preview the latest collections from top golf apparel manufacturers such as Bobby Jones Sportswear, Cutter & Buck, Greg Norman Collection, Original Penguin, PING Apparel, J. The Association of Golf Merchandisers will host two fashion designer roundtables on the show floor on Wednesday, Sept. 12. Both roundtables are presented to provide attendees with first hand knowledge of the newest technologies in fabrics and designs for the coming season and will be open to all PGA Fall Expo attendees. The traditional designers’ roundtable take place on Tuesday, September 11th from 4 to 5 p.m. and will feature designers from Bobby Jones, Calvin Klein, Carnoustie, Cutter & Buck, Greg Norman Collection and Jack Nicklaus Sportswear. The boutique designers’ roundtable will take place on Wednesday, September 12th from noon to 1:00 p.m. and will feature designers from Aphira, Birdie, Claudia Romana, Trigelle and Verdina.
The "What’s Hot In Apparel" trend seminar returns in 2007 after a tremendous response in 2006, with Golf Datatech’s Tom Stine presenting "Apparel Trends That Will Make You More Money" on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sponsored by The PGA of America, the apparel trends seminar is designed to provide exceptional retailing tools for every golf shop, large or small.
