About The Technology
In the past, golfers have been hesitant to wear eyewear during their round. That’s because no one has ever thought to address the problem of (ESD) Eye-Plane Shift Distortion, one of the most common problems facing golfers who wear ordinary sunglasses while they play. SunBuster’s Sports Enhancement Eyewear with GolfCorrectâ?¢ Technology is designed and optically ground to eliminate ESD. A proper golf posture requires that the chin be lifted so that the shoulders can freely rotate during the swing. Lifting the chin causes the golfer to lower his or her eyes and look through the bottom half of the lens to see the ball. This is what causes ESD if you’re wearing ordinary sunglasses. Sunbuster’s GolfCorrect lenses are de-centered and optically ground to provide a clear, crisp, undistorted view of the golf ball and feature a "purple" PuttReadersTM lens that selectively filters light in the visible spectrum so that golfers can see the fairways, pins, and putting surfaces with perfect clarity, contour definition, color separation, and depth perception. The revolutionary new lens brings out the contours and eliminates the guesswork normally involved in reading a green, helping all golfers see immediate results.
PuttReaders are a product of "true color science". This optical marvel blocks much of the color green the eyes see in a putting green. In essence they make you slightly "color-blind". This brings out the blacks, reds and yellows which are the colors the brain needs to better read the subtle break-defining elements of grain, contour and undulation.
