The ‘Round-A-Bout G-360’ from Ashdon Golf was recently named the #1 putter on the market by Rankmark, America’s premier Golf Testing Company. Ron Pritchett, the company’s founder and creator of the Round-a-Bout putter has learned plenty about the game over his 30 plus years as a PGA professional golfer.
Pritchett started Ashdon Golf in 2005, with the development of his first putter, the Bermuda Triangle T-180. "After watching a well-known player during the putting stroke, I realized that I needed to develop a putter that reduced torque," noted Pritchett. "I found that the two strongest forms of engineering are the circle and the triangle, which provide the most strength and stability."
Pritchett continued on his quest to create perfectly engineered putters. In only two years, the Round-A-Bout G-360 was released. After only being in the market for about six months, the putter has risen to the top, ranking #1 among several top brands.
"What makes the Round-A-Bout G-360 so different is it’s engineered design," states Pritchett. "The putter was developed to eliminate backspin. The solid construction of the circle design actually raises the center of gravity, ensuring true topspin, without the bounce. The arch of the circle connects the heel of the putter to the toe, thus eliminating the torque during the backswing."
The Round-A-Bout is perfectly balanced for improved follow through. Due to it’s higher center of gravity, the golf ball won’t skip, hop or jump. In addition, the circle portion of the putter, which is the actual size of a golf ball, always indicates when the ball is in the center of the putter. All the mass is directly behind the ball, giving the golfer a very solid feel. The Round-A Bout G-360 is the most forgiving putter ever made, with an incredible 89% larger sweet spot.
"Having a guideline that is the height of the golf ball, a player can more easily line up the ball and just point and putt," remarks Pritchett. "It takes the guess work out of the game so that players can focus more on the shot and their stroke."
Ashdon Golf putters are the most balanced putters in the industry and have in may cases improved scores by an average 2-5 strokes. Ashdon putters are engineered to be consistent and balanced, providing players with a professional edge.
