Former Champions Tour Player Who Now Hones his Game at Robert Trent Jones Jr.-Designed Osprey Meadows Golf Club, Posts Another Strong Performance
TAMARACK, Idaho – Osprey Meadows at Tamarack Resort – the Robert Trent Jones Jr. signature design named America’s best-new upscale resort course by Golf Digest Magazine in 2006 – today announces that Scott Masingill registered a Top 10 finish at the 2007 HealthONE Colorado Senior Open being played at Green Valley Ranch in Denver.
A member of Osprey Meadows who held his Champions Tour card in 2006, Masingill recorded rounds of 69, 71 and 72 on the Par 72 course to finish nine shots off the pace set by tournament champions Dave Arbuckle, who finished four shots clear of the field.
"The competition was tough and my hat’s off to Dave Arbuckle for going low," says Masingill. "The course played tough and proved to be a true test, but practicing at Osprey Meadows is excellent preparation for any layout I play."
Masingill, a resident of Payette, Idaho, attained the "Holy Grail" of golf in an earlier event, recording a magical 59 at the Idaho Open last month when he won that championship.
