MADISON, WI – There will be a new addition to the fourth annual Isleworth-UCF Collegiate Invitational this year. The event will again feature the top men’s collegiate golf teams in the country competing at the prestigious Isleworth Country Club in Orlando, FL, but this year, each player in the field will be using the QuickShot by Laser Link Golf to measure their distances to the flagstick. Laser Link Golf will be on site to provide a QuickShot to each participant and coach, and the rangefinders will be allowed during tournament play as a condition of the competition.
"We’re proud to be the distance measurement choice of such a top flight event," said Rob O’Loughlin, President of Laser Link Golf. "These are some of the top collegiate players in the country, and accurate distance information is important to them. Our System provides that information quickly and easily. It’s really a perfect fit."
Inclusion in this event continues the company’s history as the distance measurement choice of important amateur and professional golf tournaments. This year, for the fourth year in a row, Laser Link Golf provided the official rangefinder for the Tavistock Cup – the annual competition in Orlando, FL, pitting the top PGA Tour players from Isleworth Country Club against the top Tour players from rival Lake Nona Golf and Country Club. Other recent events using the Laser Link Distance System include the Trans-Miss Amateur, People vs. the Pros, the Trump Million Dollar Challenge, the Florida Open, the UCF Challenge (women’s), and the Founders Cup Challenge, to name a few.
