Nike Golf’s Marc Warren birdied the second playoff hole in the
Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles for his second PGA European
Tour victory and his first on home soil in Scotland. Warren, who won
with 14 Nike Golf clubs in his bag, brings Nike Golf’s total
professional victories in 2007 to 14, four of which are international
wins.
Warren’s Johnnie Walker Championship Highlights
· Warren made an 8-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole to
position himself into a sudden-death playoff.
· Warren sealed his victory by making birdie on the second
playoff hole.
· Using Nike Golf’s SUMO Driver, Warren averaged 290-yard
drives.
· Warren averaged 71% in greens in regulation using his Nike
Blades.
· With his Nike Unitized Tiempo putter, Warren averaged 27
putts per round ranking fourth in the field.
