September 6, 2007

NEW BEDFORD, Mass., September 5, 2007 – AHEAD, Inc., a leader in golf headwear, apparel and accessories announces that they have signed up 2000 golf courses as participating partners in their "Get AHEAD" Sweepstakes, exposing the program to millions of golfers across the country. The sweepstakes ends September 30, 2007 with one lucky golfer driving away with a custom-built Orange County Chopper.

"The sweepstakes is a fun way to learn more about how our company got started, what we do and who wears our products on tour," said Ken Shwartz, president, AHEAD, Inc. "Most golfers recognize our logo but don’t really know about our company. The reason we chose to give away a chopper is because our company and Orange County Choppers have a lot in common. We both take something relatively ordinary, turn it into something extraordinary resulting in a must have for the consumer. They’re known for their creative motorcycle creations and we’re known for our creative designs with caps, apparel and accessories."

AHEAD will award one grand prize winner a custom Orange County chopper with several unique components designed by AHEAD. Also, 100 golfers will win a $100 golf shop gift certificate for AHEAD products and over 1000 golfers will win a $25 golf shop gift certificate. The contest is scheduled to end on September 30th, and AHEAD is making one final push to give more golfers a chance to enter. The company will be sending out a targeted email campaign to over one million golfers on September 7th inviting them to enter the Get A.H.E.A.D. sweepstakes.

"This final push will give AHEAD exposure to more golfers around the country and build anticipation for the final drawing," added Shwartz.

Golfers can register to win at www.aheadweb.com/sweepstakes daily and can earn additional chances into the sweepstakes by taking a quiz about AHEAD, along with simply referring friends.

In a separate in-house contest, AHEAD will offer a twin chopper to one lucky participating golf course. The winners will be announced and showcased on AHEAD’s website on October 3, 2007. Courses wishing to participate still can by visiting www.aheadweb.com

"The participating courses in our sweepstakes are promoting the program to all their golfers either on their website, tee time reservation pages, golf shops, bag stuffers or club newsletters and their members seem to really get into it," added Shwartz.
