New Handcrafted Models Feature 100% Milled Line & Tour-Proven RifleScope Technology
(Franklin, TN – September 10, 2007) The SeeMore Putter Company, whose putters’ performance has become legendary with the world’s best players, introduces three new mSeries models, combining the beauty, precision, accuracy, and feel of 100% milled heads with the proprietary, patented and proven alignment benefits of SeeMore RifleScope Technology (RST).
The new mSeries putters, distinctively and finely handcrafted to appeal to different players’ putting preferences and styles, include:
â?¢ The mFGP platinum is a milled replica of the putter used to win the 2007 Masters in a beautiful platinum satin finish.
â?¢ The m1 blade belly and m3 mallet belly offer heavier head weights designed specifically for belly design putters at longer lengths of 41-45 inches.
The patented RST, known by a visible gun sight on the top line, allows the golfer to set up the putter perfectly each and every time in relation to the intended target line. This is accomplished by lining up the black bottom portion of the shaft between two white lines and covering a signature red dot on the heel of the top line. The process is like locking radar onto a target. The two parallel white sight lines frame the shaft and serve as an indicator that the golfer is in perfect position to make a consistent and reliable stroke.
Deadly Precise Putters
"We are excited to introduce these new models to the popular mSeries. These new models address specific putting preferences and styles, and will broaden the appeal of our current mSeries," says Jim Grundberg, Managing Partner for SeeMore.
"This season, we regularly and consistently hear from golfers of all skill levels that they have improved their putting performance by using our deadly precise putters. Most importantly, they like that a SeeMore putter provides a continuous feedback system to monitor the progress of their putting performance," says Grundberg.
With every SeeMore model, the putting stroke follows a perfect arc backward and forward where the putter releases perfectly as the putter squares to the target line and on a slight upstroke, promoting a consistently perfect roll. The SeeMore RST helps the golfer stay on the perfect path throughout the stroke.
Perfectly Promotes Pendulum Style Putting
The mSeries SeeMore putters with RST also perfectly promote and enhance the popular pendulum-style (inside to square to inside) putting stroke favored by many of the best players in the world. In this stroke, the golfer places his hands and the putter head directly below his eyes at set up and turns his shoulders, holding a triangle through the stroke.
"The mSeries putters also provide valuable feedback during practice sessions that enables a golfer to establish his own system for continuous improvement. This is accomplished when the golfer steps away from a putt and takes a practice stroke," says Grundberg. "In a perfect pendulum stroke, the red dot will be covered at all times and the shaft will be lined up between the two white lines."
The mSeries also includes the m1, a classic heel/toe blade with center shaft; the m2, a classic heel/toe blade with heel shaft, the m3, a classic mallet with center shaft, and the mFGP is a milled version of the original FGP putter used by Zach Johnson to win the Masters and by Payne Stewart to win the U.S. Open.
The mSeries putters feature a 100% milled 303 platinum stainless steel body and jewel-like face accounting for 95% of the mass of the putter. The mSeries putters also include a small precision milled 6061 lightweight aluminum back cavity insert, which allows for higher MOI and an expanded sweet spot. The milled back cavity insert also interacts with the milled stainless steel body to enhance feedback and create a solid, crisp, silky distinctive feel.
Headweight is 333grams on the mFGP platinum and 390 grams on the m1 blade belly and m3 blade mallet, which is the optimal performance weight for the belly length. Standard loft is 3.5 degrees. Standard lie angle is 70 degrees. Standard grip is a Golf Pride classic.
Extraordinary Putting Records
Players using SeeMore putters over the past seven years have won impressive victories and established extraordinary putting records:
â?¢ Zach Johnson won the 2007 Masters in the most challenging putting and scoring conditions in the tournament’s history. He also set the all-time Nationwide Tour putting record of 1.699 putts per GIR over an entire season using a SeeMore FGP putter, finishing first in putting, wins and on the overall money list.
â?¢ Johnson also won his second PGA Tour event in Atlanta with a SeeMore FGP. The pro charged to the victory with three straight birdies on the 8th, 9th and 10th holes at the AT&T Classic. He birdied the 18th hole in regulation and in the playoff to secure the championship. The SeeMore mFGP also was used to finish third at the AT&T Classic.
â?¢ Payne Stewart won the US Open in 1999 with a record-setting putting performance and also won the overall putting title for fewest putts per round over the entire 1999 season. He used the original FGP.
â?¢ Vaughn Taylor finished as the #1 putter on top 50 money list of the PGA tour in 2006 with an average of 1.725 putts per GIR. Taylor also uses the original FGP.
â?¢ Johnson and Taylor were the two youngest players to qualify for the 2006 Ryder Cup.
â?¢ The Scandinavian Masters winner needed only 24 putts in his final round including his dramatic 10-foot dramatic birdie putt on the 18th hole to seal the tournament. He used a SeeMore m1 in his victory.
â?¢ A Tour Rookie and accomplished college player won two tour victories in her first five starts on the Duramed Futures’ Tour. She used the SeeMore m2 putter.
