LAKE MARY, FL – Nominations for the 15th Annual ING Industry Honors Awards must be into the International Network Of Golf’s office by October 1 in order to be considered for this year’s edition of "Golf’s Academy Awards."
The International Network of Golf, a 17-year-old, non-profit networking organization, conducts the ING Industry Honors program. Nominees do not have to be members of ING, and can come from anyone in the industry, even from the nominees themselves. It is asked that a 50-word description of the product, service or achievement accompany the nomination.
The categories include: Product Ingenuity; Business Achievement; TV Commercial; Print Advertising; Player Development; Golf Course Architecture; Tournament Service and Public Relations/Promotions. Sub-committees will choose the final ballot, with three nominees in each category, and the winners will be determined by a vote of the ING membership.
Nominees will be recognized and winners announced at the Presentation Press Conference on Friday, January 18, 12:30 p.m. in ClubING (309-A) at the Orange County Convention Center on the second day of the 2008 PGA Merchandise Show.
