The Champion has earned $1.9 million in Seven Events with the Z-URC
ATLANTA, September 24, 2007 – The winner of the 2007 Turning Stone Resort Championship won the event using Srixon’s Z-URC golf ball. Since switching to the Z-URC golf ball, the champion has won twice this year on tour and has earned $1,990,612 in his last seven events. This also makes back-to-back victories at Turning Stone for Srixon, staff professional John Rollins won the 2006 B.C. Open.
Srixon’s Z-URC golf ball is designed with the softest urethane-elastomer cover the company has ever developed, resulting in outstanding spin and control on approach shots and around the greens. Underneath the cover technology, the Z-URC features a large energetic gradient growth core that produces tremendous velocity combined with optimal launch conditions. The result is pinpoint precision and distance control for the world’s best players.
Srixon’s Z-URC golf ball displayed pinpoint accuracy during the week with the champion leading the field in greens in regulation and birdies; hitting 64 of 72 greens in regulation and recording 24 birdies. The victory earned the winner $1.08 million dollars and vaulted him from 70th on the money list into the top 30.
