R.W. Eaks’ recent Champions Tour victory at Rock Barn Golf Club continued the momentum of what is shaping up to be an incredible season on the seniors circuit.
Eaks won his second Champions Tour event for 2007 using a Fisher Putter that he picked up at the First Tee Invitational last September 2006 at Pebble Beach. Since using the Fisher TALON TS-3 4-SPEED putter, Eaks has carded 14 top-10 finishes, including 6 second-place finishes, and now his second victory with a 2 shot margin at the Rock Barn Golf Club. Eaks opened with a blistering 63 in the opening round, and closed the final round with a clutch par putt on the 17th hole, and a birdie on the 18th hole for a 2-shot Victory over Jay Haas.
This brings Eaks earnings for the year to $1,464,738 and nearly $2,000,000 since the Fisher putter went into his bag 12 months ago at Pebble Beach.
Eaks’ strength off the tee, his dramatically improved iron play and his now stellar putting have combined to create a winning formula in 2007.
Success on the greens continues for Eaks, now 4th on the money list for 2007, and 6th in the Charles Schwab Cup standings. He is ranked 4th on the Champions Tour in overall putting for 2007.
About Fisher Putters
"The World’s First 4-SPEED Putter"
Fisher Golf, now in its 15th year of producing precision made putters, has over 10 patents with multiple patents pending on "Calibrated Polymer Insert Technology" invented by Dr. Dale Fisher, the companies Founder and President.
"We knew that our latest innovation, the TALON 4-SPEED putters, were going to completely change the course of our company," comments Glen Passaretti, V.P. Sales & Marketing. "R.W. is the hottest player on the Champions Tour and contending almost every week. We congratulate him on his second Champions Tour Victory. We at Fisher Golf are very proud to be associated with R.W. and have him using our putter. He is a great person and great Champion"
The Fisher TALON putters allow the golfer to dial in their "Feel" and "Distance Control" using our multi-speed, "Reversible Face Plate" technology. Our new TALONS offer 4-SPEEDS, Softer, Soft, Firm, and Firmer. Fisher’s patented face inserts are called "Kevflex." Each insert is Color Coded. Prior to the round the golfer can choose the right insert based on his personal preference or the speed of the greens that day. Many golfers simply choose the insert they like the most and never change it. This incredible new technology has put "Feel" back into putting. "Distance Control," means everything when putting. "Metal face putters just do not provide the feedback and feel that our KevFlex face inserts do" states Mr. Passaretti. "Our sales have increased dramatically worldwide since we have introduced our new line of Talon 4-SPEED putters"
