ATLANTIC CITY, NJ. — (October 5, 2007) – The International Network of Golf Regional Seminar, which will be held for the third year in Atlantic City on October 29, 30 and 31, will have a high-powered Golf Travel Panel on board when it takes a close look at the golf industry in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
The Golf Travel Panel will examine trends in the industry, analyze the season in different Mid-Atlantic Region destinations, and look toward what might come in the future. The participants for the golf travel panel are: Michael Cleary, Chief Operating Officer, Ocean City Golf Getaways; Kimberly Scott-Carl, President, Genesis Golf Trips;
Brian Hoey, Golf Marketing Manager, Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority; and Bill Nestor, Golf Travel and Lifestyle writer. The panel will be moderated by Gary Shea, Regional Manager, Golf Vacations
The International Network of Golf is a 16-year-old organization dedicated to education and communication in the golf industry. It is coming back to Atlantic City, after holding two extremely successful Mid-Atlantic Regional Golf Seminars in Atlantic City in ’05 and ’06.
The highlight of each year for the ING is its annual Spring Conference. Next year it will be held in Atlantic City (May 26-30) – a direct result of the success the Regional Seminars have enjoyed. As a matter of supporting the efforts of the national conference and addressing local issues, the Regional Golf Seminar in Atlantic City was instituted to bring the same focus on education and communication within the golf industry to the Mid-Atlantic region.
The seminar will bring together some of the top minds in all facets of the golf industry for three days of seminars, panel discussions, exhibitions and networking.
The three days of education and communication will all begin with an 18-hole golf tournament at Mays Landing Golf and CC, just west of Atlantic City. The seminar will be held in the Sheraton Convention Center Hotel in Atlantic City.
The Mid-Atlantic Regional Golf Seminar is open to anyone who wants to learn more about the golf industry, network with some of its leaders or bring their latest ideas to the media.
Reasonably priced packages for the conference have been arranged through Gary Shea at Golf Vacations (877-320-1991). Also, information is available on the website at www.golfvacations.com/ing.
