Sanford, FL – For the third week in a row, Rife Putters finished 1st on the Darrell Survey on the Champions Tour at the final Major Event of the season, The Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship, held at The Baltimore Country Club.
Rife had 24 putters in play, 7 more than their nearest competitor Odyssey, wihich accounted for over 30% of the field, and Rife putters were in the hands of three of the Top 10 and seven of the Top 20 Finishers, bringing Rife’s total earnings for this event to $718.442.00.
Week in and week out several players on the PGA, Champions and Nationwide Tours rely on Rife’s RollGrooveTM Technology to earn their paychecks. In the past two years Rife Putters have accounted for over $20 Million dollars in earnings on these Tours and each week that number continues to grow. With over $20 Million in earnings and no endorsed players, its obvious that Rife Putters has found that for the Tour Players, winning is everything.
The massive undulating greens at The Baltimore Country Club were the major topic of discussion amongst the seventy-eight Champions Tour Players who competed in the event. Many of the players compared the conditions of the greens to those at Augusta, citing the importance of putting defensively in order to score well. Most of the greens tend to tilt from back to front leaving you with 6, 8, or 10 feet of break coming across the green. On what are easily considered the most challenging greens the Champions Tour has seen all year, it’s no surprise that 24 Tour Players decided to put their trust into Rife putters, proving once again that when putting really counts, Rife is the putter of choice.
About Rife Putters
All of Rife’s Putters, the 2 Bar line, GR6 Series, and new Island Series putters, are high-end fully CNC milled putters that offer the same patented RollGrooveTM Technology and patent pending LieAline System.
Rife Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. Guerin Rife states, "just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face." Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGrooveTM faced putters create the truest "no skid" roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
