ORLANDO, Fla., (Oct. 11, 2007) — Golfweek, the publication preferred by serious golfers, was recently honored with three Create Awards, including one first-place award. This year’s entries spanned across the globe, and only 235 awards were chosen out of roughly 2,400 entries.
Golfweek won a Gold Award in the Editorial Feature Story category for Dave Seanor’s article "Seven Decades Later, Still a Standout" from Golfweek’s May 27, 2007 issue.
Golfweek also won a Silver Award in the Editorial Feature Story category for John Steinbreder’s article "Slicing & Dicing" from Golfweek’s July 29, 2007 issue.
In addition, Golfweek’s marketing department and copywriter, Elizabeth Hawkins, was awarded the Silver Award in copywriting for Golfweek’s Best Resort Courses Annual 2007.
