Orlando, Fla., (Oct. 16, 2007) -Golfweek, the publication preferred by serious golfers, has added PGA Tour professionals Ted Purdy and Kirk Triplett, and Scottsdale residents Paul Ruth, Penny Pulz and Scott Sackett to Golfest’s two day line-up at WestWorld on Nov. 10-11, 2007. For the second year, a portion of Golfweek’s Golfest’s proceeds will benefit The Fore Adoption Foundation, which provides financial support for adoptive parents.
"We’re really excited about this year’s event which will be bigger and better than before thanks to the increased partnership with the Arizona Golf Association and the main stage line up," said Armand Cimaroli, director of events. "Scottsdale has a great pool of golf celebrities and we’re thrilled to be able to provide a program that showcases Scottsdale’s golf talent on one stage."
At Golfweek’s Golfest Scottsdale — the Southwest’s largest outdoor golf lifestyle event and demo day–consumers will be able to try and buy the latest and greatest golf equipment while enjoying free golf clinics, golf entertainment, contests and fun for the entire family.
This year Van’s Golf shops will offer free vouchers for a $10 gift card with each Golfest ticket. And as a major partner, the Arizona Golf Association will hold clinics and skills games, while raising money for its junior golf charity.
