#1 Brand on Tour Wins on LPGA and European PGA Tours
Marlborough, MA-October 17, 2007- CHAMP Spikes, the number one brand on tour, announces that winners on both the LPGA Tour and European PGA Tour wore CHAMP Scorpion Stinger Spikesâ?¢.
The number one ranked female golfer in the world successfully defended her title at the Samsung World Championship on Sunday at the CANYONS Course at BIGHORN Golf Club. The LPGA Tour winner shot a final round 66 to take the win at this week’s tournament, solidifying her position atop the Rolex Player of the Year standings. This is her second consecutive Player of the Year award and her 7th win of the season while wearing CHAMP Stinger Spikes.
Across the Atlantic at the Open de Madrid, a closing five under par 67 sealed the deal for the latest winner. It was the CHAMP Scorpion Stinger that led the 29 year old to become the 17th first time winner on the European Tour International Schedule this season. Overall 60% of the field wearing plastic spikes chose the CHAMP brand.
