ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. 22, 2007) — Golfweek, the publication preferred by serious golfers, and CBSSports.com, a leading Internet sports media service and part of CBS Interactive, have created a golf content partnership which will make select Golfweek online video programming available on CBSSports.com.
"We are pleased to have CBSSports.com as a strategic partner," said Terry Olson, Golfweek’s vice president/publisher. "With the significant development of video technology, the timing was right to work together and for our two companies to enter this collaboration. The end result is that we are delivering quality video to not only Golfweek.com visitors, but now thru this agreement, to one of the premier sports properties on the web."
As part of the partnership, Golfweek’s equipment video features will run twice per month on CBSSports.com. Also, Golfweek’s "Preferred Lies" will appear monthly when it features CBSSports.com senior writer Steve Elling as a special guest.
