CARLSBAD, Calif. (October 22, 2007) – TaylorMade-adidas Golf Tour Staff professional Mike Weir sank a six-foot par putt on the 18th hole to complete a final round 2-under 68 and clinch a one-stroke victory at the Fry’s Electronics Open at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ.
Using his TaylorMade r7® irons, the 2003 Masters champion tied for second in greens in regulation, nailing 79.2% and posted 22 birdies en route to the eighth win of his PGA Tour career.
Overall, Weir finished at 14-under 266.
Meanwhile, TaylorMade-adidas Tour Staff Professional Steve Webster shot a final round 64 for a 25-under par total of 263 to win the Portugal Masters.
