PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL, October 25, 2007 – LPGA Hall of Fame member and the 2009 captain of the U.S. Solheim Cup team, Beth Daniel, will appear at the EWGA Conference in Amelia Island at Amelia Island Plantation on Thursday, November 1 from 5pm to 7pm. Daniel, The Greenbrier’s LPGA Touring Professional, was the LPGA Rookie of the Year in 1979 followed by LPGA Player of the Year in 1980. Only two other players have accomplished these back to back titles – Nancy Lopez and Annika Sorenstam. Daniel has 33 tour victories and also won LPGA Player of the Year honors in 1990 and 1994. She has played on eight Solheim Cup teams and assisted captain Betsy King in the 2007 win against Europe in Halmstad, Sweden.
