#1 Brand on Tour Wins Again on LPGA and PGA European Tour
Marlborough, MA-October 29, 2007- CHAMP Spikes, the number one brand on tour, announces that winners of the LPGA and European PGA tournaments wore CHAMP’s Scorpion Stingerâ?¢ spikes for the second consecutive week.
Both CHAMP and the second ranked women’s golfer in the world enjoyed their second consecutive wins on the LPGA Tour. At this week’s Honda LPGA in Thailand, the winner was tied for first going into the final hole and sealed the deal on a victory by posting an eagle to win by a single stroke. The impressive 20-under-par finish gave the champion her fifth victory of the year and her career.
On the PGA European Tour, the young winner became the 18th player this year to claim his maiden victory. The winner’s final round 67 clinched the win and a champagne shower with a 12-under-par 268. In all, 72% of the field chose CHAMP spikes with the Scorpion Stinger dominating the leaderboard by sweeping the top three places and finishing with eight of the top ten players wearing Stinger. The Scorpion Stinger has advanced traction elements for greater traction and durability and superior comfort.
