Oak Brook Terrace, IL (October 30, 2007) -Zero Friction Performance Golf Tee, the official tee of the Long Drivers of America (LDA), reports that for the second year in a row, over 75% of the RE/MAX Long Drive Championship field used the tee in competition in Mesquite, NV this past weekend.

404 yards, the longest drive of the Open Division, was hit by a player who consistently used the Zero Friction tee. The winner of the Senior Division, whose winning shot of 394 yards claimed him top prize of $35,000, also relied on Zero Friction.

"Distance and accuracy are key in these long drive competitions, and players that use the Zero Friction tee know that they can count on it to help them gain the extra yardage they need to win" states Bob White, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Excel Golf Products.

The Zero Friction Performance Golf Tee has been used to claim over 30 professional tour victories and over 200 top-10 finishes since its creation in 2005. Its success can be attributed to its unique patented 3-pronged cup which provides less resistance between the golf ball and tee, resulting in longer, straighter drives. The environmentally friendly tee is available in 1 ¾", 2 ¾", and 3 ¼" and comes in white, pink, red, black, and blue.

Zero Friction is manufactured by Excel Golf Products, Inc. of Oak Brook Terrace, IL, a full-service distributor of golf accessories. For more information, visit www.zftees.com.
