Through Champions Tour –Charles Schwab– Championship
Tom Watson, Loren Roberts, Jay Haas and Mark O’Meara finished 2007 in places one through four in the Power Performance Rankings. Jim Thorpe did not change in points since he has the same result at last year, but because others moved up in points, Thorpe slid one place from 32nd to 33rd. Jay Haas finished at the top in 2004. Loren Roberts was in #1 spot in 2005 and 2006. Watson was #1 in 2002 and 2003.
Moves up: Tom Purtzer from 22nd to 15th; Scott Simpson from 21st to 14th; Allen Doyle from 36th to26th.
Moves down: Gil Morgan from 26th to 31st; David Edwards from 28th to 32nd.
Dropped for insufficient points: Bruce Lietzke
Rankings are based on 12-month performances of Champions Tour players. When a tournament is played, the previous year’s results are dropped. Losing a high finish, dropping a low finish, adding a new high finish or a new low finish affects standings. Players must have a minimum number of points to be included in the rankings, but all players are tracked.
Bold indicates change from last week. Blue bold indicates larger changes in position from previous week. Orange for dropped players and Green is for returning or entering players. Red is for winners. $$ column of numbers reflects position on Champions Tour money list.
