‘Hottest Shafts in Golf’ post 29th consecutive woods, hybrids count victories
POWAY, Calif. – The winner of the Nationwide Tour Championship at Barona Creek Golf Club outside San Diego, Calif. posted his second win of the season using Aldila’s VS Protoâ?¢ in his driver. With the victory, the 35-year-old Welshman earned $139,500 which catapulted him from sixth place on the money leader list to the top and earned him a full PGA Tour exemption for 2008.
