Fires Final Round 6-Under Par With New I-701 Tour Irons And Z-URC Golf Ball

ATLANTA – November 5, 2007 – The Children’s Miracle Network Classic at Walt Disney World’s Palm and Magnolia golf courses has to be one of Tim Clark’s favorite tournaments. He has finished runner-up four of the past five years. His final round 6-under-par 66 on Sunday was one shot short of a playoff, but put him in solo second, earning him a payday of $496,000. This tournament topped off his best season of his professional career.

Clark, who plays the recently-introduced Srixon I-701 Tour irons and Z-URC golf ball, recorded six top-10 finishes in 2007, including three second-place finishes. He ends the season 22nd on the 2007 PGA Tour Money List with earnings of $2.6 million.

Nationwide player and Srixon staff professional Kyle Thompson will be joining Srixon staff professionals Clark, Jim Furyk, John Rollins, Robert Allenby and Henrik Stenson on the PGA in 2008 after finishing the year 14th on the Nationwide Tour Money List. The top 25 earned their 2008 PGA Tour card. Thompson had an outstanding year on tour, winning twice and recording two other top-10s. Thompson uses the new I-701 Tour irons and the Z-URS golf ball.

The final PGA Tour Money List standings has five Srixon players in the top 40: Furyk (7th), Clark (22nd), Rollins (24th) Allenby ( 27th), Stenson (40th).

Also last weekend, on the Asian Tour, Srixon’s Jin Park finished fourth competing against a world-class field of PGA professionals at the Barclays Singapore Open. In the field were three of the top five players on the PGA Tour Money List and the 2007 U.S. Open champion. Park used the I-701 Tour irons and Z-URS golf ball to fire a four-day total of 282. On the LPGA Tour, Srixon’s Laura Davies recorded her fifth top-10 this year with a fifth-place finish at the Mizuno Classic in Japan.
