Players Using SeeMore Putters For First Time Have Strong Putting Performances
(Franklin, TN – November 7, 2007) SeeMore Putter Company sustained the momentum of its first year as a revitalized company with strong putting performances by players using SeeMore putters for the first time in competition at the Ginn sur Mer Classic and Nationwide Tour Championship.
At the Ginn sur Mer classic, the player used the SeeMore m3 for the first time and had nine birdies including six straight on the front nine in his first round. The Nationwide Tour Championship player was tied for first in fewest putts, second in putting average and tied for third in birdies during the tournament using the SeeMore m2.
"This is a rewarding finish to a great first year as a revitalized company," says Jim Grundberg, Managing Director of the SeeMore Putter Company. "These year-end performances are especially fulfilling as they demonstrate how SeeMore gained recognition and credibility on all Tours in 2007, sustaining our momentum heading into 2008."
SeeMore enjoyed remarkable 2007 accomplishments including wins at the Masters, the Scandinavian Masters, the AT&T Classic, a course record 60 at the Tour Championship, and two victories on the Duramed Futures Tour.
SeeMore was re-launched with the new mSeries of putters in January, and immediately regained worldwide prominence as Zach Johnson used a SeeMore FGP to win the 2007 Masters. SeeMore also is the putter of choice for the tour’s best putter among the top 50 on the 2006 money list and Ryder Cup player — Vaughn Taylor.
SeeMore putters combine the beauty, precision, accuracy, and feel of 100% milled heads with the original, proprietary and proven alignment benefits of the SeeMore RifleScopeâ?¢ Technology (RST) system. The patented RST alignment system technology allows a golfer to set up the putter perfectly each and every time in relation to the intended target line. This is accomplished by lining up the black bottom portion of the shaft between two white lines and covering a signature red dot on the heel of the top line. The process resembles locking radar onto a target.
SeeMore originally became recognized when Payne Stewart won the 1999 U.S. Open playing a SeeMore putter. Stewart one-putted the last three holes to win the championship by one stroke. He sunk what’s considered to be the longest putt in Open history on the 18th hole to win the tournament. Stewart also won the overall putting title for fewest putts per round over the entire 1999 season.
Other noted SeeMore Tour accomplishments include Johnson setting the all-time Nationwide Tour putting record of 1.699 putts per GIR over an entire season using a SeeMore putter, finishing first in putting, wins and on the overall money list. He is one of only two players ever on any tour to finish a season under 1.7 putts per GIR. Johnson and Taylor were the two youngest players to qualify for the 2006 Ryder Cup.
Johnson, Taylor and the Tour rookie are students of accomplished putting coach and SeeMore consultant Pat O’Brien. O’Brien’s putting philosophy is based on his study of Stewart during his remarkable 1999 using a SeeMore putter. SeeMore’ website at www.seemore.com has many new features including a Pat O’Brien putting instruction series, videos about the proprietary SeeMore putting system and its proven and patented RST alignment system as well as news about SeeMore’s remarkable legacy and Tour success. SeeMore putters are custom made in Franklin, TN.
