Members Will Receive New Performance Cap By AHEAD Featuring Advance Moisture Management System

New Bedford, Mass., November 8, 2007 – AHEAD, a leader in branded headwear, apparel and accessories, announced today it will renew its sponsorship through 2009 with the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA). AHEAD will continue as the exclusive headwear sponsor of the AJGA.

"AHEAD is an industry leader and we’re thrilled to have built a great relationship with them through the years," said Jason Etzen, AJGA’s executive vice president of corporate partnerships. "All of our members receive at least one AHEAD cap throughout the year and it is always a favorite among our tournament gifts."

Five thousand junior golfers between the ages of 12-18 are members of the AJGA, which conducts 81 tournaments annually. Every member receives a custom AHEAD cap with their membership, and in five years more than 100,000 AHEAD caps have been distributed. "We just received our 2008 caps and our kids are going to love the new performance headwear with the rubber appliqué of our AJGA logo," added Etzen.

AHEAD offers two performance caps featuring an advanced moisture management system. The caps are offered with either the innovative Coolmax® fabric or AHEAD’s proprietary EX01 moisture wicking fabric that is used in its popular performance AHD (advanced hi-tech design) apparel line.

"We have enjoyed working with the AJGA over the past several years," said Ken Shwartz, CEO, AHEAD. "We are proud to support the development of young men and women golfers because they are the future of the game. The AJGA does an incredible job at not only making them better golfers through the spirit of competition but also well-rounded individuals."

2008 will mark AHEAD’s sixth consecutive year as a sponsor of the AJGA. As part of the agreement, AHEAD will continue as the exclusive supplier of all AJGA tournament headwear with AHEAD’s ACARE performance headwear. In addition, it will outfit the AJGA staff and Canon Cup teams with AHEAD headwear.

AHEAD is a designer and marketer of branded headwear, apparel and accessories. Headquartered in New Bedford, Massachusetts, the company operates four distinct business units — the AHEAD Authentic apparel line, the Kate Lord Collection of fine women’s hats, apparel and accessories, the AHEAD "Heavy Metal" line of golf accessories, and the Company’s unparalleled line of AHEAD Headgear. AHEAD is a sponsor of PGA Authentic and a supporting partner of PGA Golf Retirement Plus. Coolmax® is a registered trademark of Invista.
