Sundog Eyewear proudly congratulates Paula Creamer, scoring a four-under par 68 in the final round to win The Mitchell Company Tournament of Champions.
Paula finished a 20-under par 268 to secure her fourth career LPGA victory wearing Sundog eyewear from her own collection.
"I won a U.S. junior tournament over this course, so it’s special to come back and win as a professional," Creamer said.
All week, Paula dominated the back nine, and started the final day with a seven-foot birdie putt on the first hole, widening her lead to seven. Pitching within three feet of pin on the par-five fourth, Paula was in for birdie. Consistent pars for the next six holes, she rocketed to 19-under, with birdie on 11, and an astonishing 21-under with birdies on 14 and 16.
"Our entire team went crazy as we cheered her on, although we had no doubt this was Paula’s tournament" said John Whitney, Sundog Eyewear Vice President of Product Development and Production. "We were just thrilled Paula was wearing the special edition IMPRESSION sunglasses we had hand-made for her when she represented the United States at the Solheim Cup."
"This has been a year we will never forget" furthered Whitney commenting on Paula’s second win this year, following wins by Sundog Genuine Performers Mike Weir at the Fry’s Electronics Open and Hunter Mahan at The Travelers Championship.
