November, 27 2007 – Birmingham, AL – Honours Golf Company is pleased to announce the arrival of Buster Inman as general manager of Limestone Springs Golf Club and Highland Park Golf Course. Honours Golf Company currently manages the two public-access golf courses in the Greater Birmingham area.

Inman, a graduate of the University of Georgia, brings with him over 29 years of experience in the golf industry. He is no stranger to Alabama Golf. Prior to joining Honours Golf, Inman served as director of golf for the nationally renowned Robert Trent Jones Trail in Glencoe, AL where his lifelong dream to host the world’s largest golf tournament came to fruition this past October. Inman, along with Jennifer Chandler of the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame, spearheaded this state-wide charity golf event hailed as the World’s Largest Shotgun Start Tournament for the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail facilities and the State of Alabama Sports Hall of Fame.

Prior to that, Inman developed his own 9-hole golf course and driving range – Buster Inman Golf located in Rainbow City, Alabama. He also served as vice president of sales for the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail overseeing all group sales promotions and PGA events and held management positions at several private, public and resort golf facilities in Florida, North Carolina and Texas. Inman, a Class A PGA Professional will oversee the entire club operations for both Limestone Springs and Highland Park.

"Buster brings with him a wealth of experience and innovated approach to golf club management, sales and customer service that will enable us to take these two Birmingham properties to the next level," stated Bob Barrett, chief executive officer of Honours Golf. "His passion for golf and strong leadership skills make him a perfect fit in our corporate culture."

Located 35 minutes north of downtown Birmingham, Limestone Springs is rated the "No. 1 Public-Access Golf Course in Alabama" by GolfWeek. This semi-private golf club is nestled throughout 225 acres of the Appalachian Mountains and features some of the most dramatic elevations and picturesque views in the state. Designed by golf course architect and former U.S. Open winner, Jerry Pate, it measures approximately 7,000 yards from the back tees with strategically located bunkers, numerous lakes and scenic waterfalls. Limestone Springs has received numerous awards and accolades and has been consistently rated 4 ½ stars by Golf Digest since its inception in 1999.

Highland Park Golf Course is Alabama’s oldest golf course. Originally developed as the Country Club of Birmingham in 1903, Highland Park has been the site of many important golf events including one of Bobby Jones’ first victories and the Tiger Woods’ Junior Golf Clinic. Renovated in 1998 by renowned golf course architect Bob Cupp, this par-70 golf course offers a classic design complimented with first-class bent grass greens, beautiful vistas of downtown Birmingham and an enticing layout that will enhance any golfer’s game.
