PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – The most extensive education conference ever offered at the PGA Merchandise Show will provide attending PGA Professionals, retailers and golf business executives access to proven business leaders addressing the game’s most relevant issues, Jan. 17-19, in Orlando, Fla.

The PGA Merchandise Show education conference will be offered daily, Jan. 17-19, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Orange County Convention Center. PGA members are able to earn up to 12 MSR (Member Service Requirement) hours through their participation in the education conference (a maximum of four daily) and a Show total of 29 MSR hours through their additional participation in the 91st PGA Annual Meeting, Demo Day, Product Preview and Buyers’ Reception, PGA Merchandise Show, and Members Town Hall.

Industry professionals may view the complete calendar of education sessions and register to attend the PGA Merchandise Show education conference at www.pgashow.com. A full conference pass including unlimited seminars throughout the conference, all course materials and admission to the exhibit hall is available to PGA members for $325 and to non-PGA members for $375. A single day pass including unlimited seminars, course materials throughout the day of your choice and admission to the exhibit hall is available to PGA members and non-PGA members for $200.

The PGA Merchandise Show returns to Orlando one week earlier than usual, Jan. 17-19, boasting more than 1,200 leading golf companies, 10 miles of exhibit aisles and more than 45,000 industry leaders at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC). Market leaders such as Callaway Golf, PING, Nike Golf, adidas, the Titleist Performance Institute, Srixon, Ahead, Cutter & Buck, Antigua, Bridgestone, Gear For Sports, Tehama, Bobby Jones, POLO, Club Car, Greg Norman, Fairway & Greene, E-Z Go, EP Pro, Ashworth, Yamaha, Wilson Staff, Nickent, Imperial, Adams, Mizuno, Tommy Bahama, Harry Vardon, PING Collection, Byron Nelson and many more are among golf’s top participating vendors at the 2008 PGA Merchandise Show. The game’s most influential leaders including executives from worldwide PGAs, global golf companies and national golf organizations join grassroots PGA Professionals and retailers to amass more than 45,000 attendees focused on growing the business of golf. Interactive exhibits, product testing, education seminars, fashion shows, industry awards, trend reports, professional networking, merchandising workshops, best practices presentations and more pack unprecedented value into the industry’s biggest week of golf business. Additional announcements regarding new and enhanced PGA Merchandise Show programs will be made.
