Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort: "What Do You Do When the Sun Comes Up?"
The Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort is the home of three Pete Dye-designed Las Vegas golf courses: Snow Mountain, Sun Mountain and The WOLF. It is the only 54-hole golf facility in Las Vegas golfdom, and typical Dye golf magic abounds: dazzling water features, railroad tie-accented bunkers, dogleg holes around water, and shots worth making and taking. And now the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort has launched a new 30-second Las Vegas golf video that combines Las Vegas excitement with Las Vegas golf, asking "So what do you do when the sun comes up?" Obviously, they hope the answer is play one of their three Las Vegas golf courses, and make it as they say, "Your Las Vegas golf experience."Â Lvpaiutegolf.com

Las Vegas Golfers Miss PGA Tour Big Time For Many Reasons
The PGA Tour Qualifying School, 2007 version, was tough on Las Vegas golfers, but the good news is that one golfer who was selling sponsorships for the FRYS.com Open in 2006 will now be completely exempt on the Nationwide Tour for 2008, while others have medical exemptions, past champion exemptions, or other ways to play in PGA Tour events in an effort to get back out on the PGA Tour full-time. Bob May, a local resident, missed out by a single shot (he bogeyed 13 and 15 down the stretch of the sixth and final round) but has a minor medical exemption, while former UNLV golfer Bill Lunde–the sales guy–missed by two shots but secured his Nationwide Tour status.
