Women’s Golf Association February Events Designed for Volunteer Leaders
PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL, December 6, 2007 – The Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) will hold two regional "Winter Leadership Gatherings" designed for volunteer chapter leaders. The first event is February 1-3, 2008 at the Dolce Hayes Mansion in San Jose, Calif.; and the second will be February 22-24 at the World Golf Village and Renaissance Hotel in St Augustine, Fla. Open to members and non-members of the EWGA, the events include a welcome dinner on Friday night, a Saturday morning interactive workshop by Sam Horn, presenting "Tongue Fu® Dealing with Difficult People" and afternoon sessions on a wide range of topics to help chapter leaders succeed. Sam Horn is the author of "POP! Stand Out in Any Crowd". She is a consultant and speaker who helps organizations develop one-of-a-kind ideas and identities that help their business or brand break out. Her Tongue Fu® workshop will offer dozens of tips on how to skillfully disarm disagreeable people and cover other areas relevant to volunteer leadership. Her presentation is sponsored by the EWGA Foundation.
