SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.- The San Diego Golf Academy, the oldest and largest golf college in the world, recently announced that 10 students from the Phoenix campus completed a club certification course through Henry-Griffitts Inc., an Idaho-based golf equipment manufacturer founded on the premise that players of all abilities tangibly benefit from custom-fitted golf equipment.

"We are so proud of the students who took initiative and gained this certification," says Tim Eberlein, director of the SDGA campus in Phoenix. "This specialized training will give these individuals a unique advantage as professional golf instructors after they graduate."

SDGA would like to congratulate the following students for completing their Henry-Griffitts certification: Anthony King, Charles Conover, Chris Benningfield, Steve Lee, Kevin Moore, Brian Blain, Jun Lee, Scott Turnow, and Josh Hanson.

Henry-Griffitts only fits and sells equipment through a national network of HG-Certified Teachers — golf professionals trained by HG to do the job more precisely and thoroughly than anyone in golf. Henry-Griffitts pioneered the idea of dynamic clubfitting and its methods remain the envy of the golf industry. For 24 years, Henry-Griffitts has recognized the symbiotic relationship between teaching swings and golf equipment. With this experience and understanding, the company delivers more than the world’s finest custom-fit golf equipment. HG delivers confidence.

SDGA offers a 16-month program of golf instruction and golf business management on four campus locations in major golf markets — Phoenix, Myrtle Beach, Orlando and San Diego. The curriculum is designed to provide graduates with the education required to get the golf job they desire. The SDGA is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) and by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), a national advocate and institutional voice for self-regulation of academic quality through accreditation.
