Mitchell® Golf Equipment Company, the industry leader in professional grade club performance, teaching and repair equipment will introduce its new Steelclub® Signature Angle Machine at the 2008 PGA Merchandise Show.
The latest in a long line of Steelclub® Angle Machines, the new Signature model is a new industry standard. It is already #1 in tour repair vans worldwide. It accurately measures & bends iron, hybrids & metal woods. It incorporates dual precision gauges that measure loft-lie-face angles even on square, triangular and round driver head shapes. The gauges slide on precision ground rails for smooth yet precise movement. The new machine boasts a black diamond powder-coat base for improved cosmetics. Each gauge has a dedicated lie plate for measuring either right- or left-hand clubs.
The new Signature machine will be featured at PGA Booth #903 where Mitchell® Golf will display its complete line of club performance & repair equipment, including Steelclub® and TourGAUGE® Angle Machines, the DigiFlexâ?¢ Frequency Meter and BenchVacâ?¢ Down Draft dust collection systems. Club repair tools for re-shafting and re-gripping, which include graphite shaft pullers, gripping stations, and cutting & buffing motors, will also be on display.
This is the 19th consecutive year that Mitchell® Golf has exhibited at the PGA Merchandise Show since it debut its Steelclub® Angle Machine, the machine that changed the golf industry. Club fitting was in its infancy and there was the perception that cast clubs could not be adjusted. This was due to the inferior clamping and bending capabilities of prior loft/lie machines. It was also thought that 17-4 stainless steel could not be bent. The Steelclub® Angle Machine proved these myths wrong and the entire golf industry embraced custom club fitting.
