Charity Ball Drop to Benefit the Central Florida Dream Center
Orlando, Fla., (Dec. 20, 2007) – Golfweek, the publication preferred by serious golfers, has added two new events and several celebrities to the schedule for Golfest Orlando, taking place at Orange County National on January 12 & 13, including the Helicopter Ball Drop on Sunday.
Celebrities appearing on the Merrill Lynch Main Stage will include: Helen Alfredsson, 2007 European Solheim Cup team captain; Phil Ritson of the Phil Ritson Golf Institute; Dennis Walters, ambassador of human inspiration; Brad Brewer of the Brad Brewer Golf Academy, plus many more.
The Golfweek’s Golfest Helicopter Ball drop will take place at 2:02 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13. Ball drop tickets are $20 each, with the winner receiving 50 percent of the money raised and the remaining 50 percent benefiting the Central Florida Dream Center.
At Golfweek’s Golfest Orlando — the largest outdoor consumer golf festival and demo day in the United States — consumers will once again be able to try and buy the latest and greatest golf equipment while enjoying clinics, golf entertainment and contests.

We have added a number of new events that will be fun for the entire family, including the Helicopter Ball Drop on Sunday, where a lucky ball drop ticket holder can win up to $50,000.”
