Phoenix, Arizona – Daphne’s Headcovers, the original animal headcover company, today revealed details of new products to be introduced at the 2008 PGA Merchandise Show, January 16-19, 2008, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

“We’re very excited to share our plans for our new creations from Daphne’s Headcovers,” explained Jane Spicer, president of Daphne’s Headcovers. “Our steady growth in 2007 exceeded our most optimistic projections and based on the quality and popularity of our plush headcovers, our vendor partners experienced extraordinary sell-through at the retail level.”

Ken Morton, Jr., director of retail for Haggin Oaks Golf Complex, is looking forward to Daphne’s Headcovers new releases. “Not only do they look great in our Super Shop as a display item,” he said, “but they are very popular with our customers who manage to find a headcover true to their own personalities.”

In addition to the hundreds of thousands of golfers who are fans, Daphne’s Headcovers are carried by many touring professionals including Ernie Els’ lion, Justin Leonard’s yellow lab, Aaron Baddeley’s koala, Bubba Watson’s pink chimpanzee, Dottie Pepper’s eagle, Laura Diaz’s golden retriever, Meg Mallon’s border collie, Lorena Ochoa’s flag and, of course, a certain tiger headcover named Frank.

A partial list of Daphne’s Headcovers creations for 2008 includes:

* Survivor Celebration Kitty This colorful pink tabby feline, already carried by LPGA player Amy Hung, will make a statement in anyone’s bag. A portion of proceeds benefits the Marathon of Miracles Foundation to inspire, educate and empower cancer survivors

* Monkey Made of Sockies Inspired by the whimsical writings and designs of artist Shannon Grissom, portions of proceeds from this colorful, playful monkey will benefit Play Golf America.

* 2 Fore 1 This full bodied animal headcover line splits and buyers receive a pair of headcovers for the price of one. New this year is an OrangeTabby Cat and a colorful Clown Fish.

* Lion & Monkey Hybrids Full bodies featuring heads, arms and legs complement these two headcovers in the ever growing hybrid category.

“Our company reputation is based on twenty-five years of providing quality through custom designs and attention to the smallest details,” said Spicer. “All of our 200-plus headcover designs bear our factory phone number. We are so convinced of our quality that should anything ever go wrong with one of our products, we will fix or replace it at our expense.”
