LAURINBURG, N.C. … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced today that it has appointed independent PGA TOUR representative John Heilmann as a consultant to represent the Golf Pride grip brand at a selected number of professional tour events in 2008.
Heilmann comes to Golf Pride after more than 15 years of experience as an independent rep on the PGA TOUR and other major professional golf tours. Heilmann demonstrates a strong personal commitment to customer relationships and service developed during a previous career as a successful restaurateur.
“We are delighted to have John as a member of the Golf Pride team,” commented Jim Ulrich, global Tour promotions manager for Golf Pride grips. “Not only is John a hard worker and class act, but through the years he has earned the respect and trust of colleagues on Tour.”
During the 2008 season, Heilmann will promote Golf Pride products and service player grip needs at specific Nationwide, LPGA and Champions Tour events.
“We’ve had the opportunity to get to know John over the years and are excited that he will represent the Golf Pride brand in 2008,” said Jeff Fiorini, general manager for Eaton’s Golf Grip Division. “His passion for the game of golf and proven track record are a good match for Golf Pride’s leadership in the grip category.”
