SAN FRANCISCO, CA (December 28, 2007)-One of the originators of the upscale luxury performance category, Iconic™ Sport, proudly announces the addition of the famed Half Moon Bay Golf Links to its account list. Located on the California coast, just south of San Francisco, Half Moon Bay Golf Links has prevailed for three decades as one of the premier golf resort operations in the West. Its inclusion ofIconic™ Sport, lends significant credibility and acceptance to the Iconic line, which was launched just less than two years ago.

In commenting on Iconic founder and designer, Leslie Chow, Nelson added, "Leslie is a great advocate of golf – as a player and an ambassador to the game. She provides an absolute ability to marry the golfer with the fashion, and we see this as a double win for us."
Both Chow and Nelson are participants in the Northern California Women’s Golf Summits, sharing a bonded interest in the promotion and advancement of women’s golf. "I’m very pleased that our goods are going to be carried at Half Moon Bay," said Chow. "It’s an award-winning, women-friendly designated resort – a significant placement, and key showcase for Iconic. They’re also discerning and selective merchandisers, so I’m thrilled to be selected to be there with other top level manufacturers."
Iconic will also be placing goods at the new Greg Norman-designed, Cornerstone facility in Telluride, Colorado. "We’re happy to have Iconic™ Sport represented as part of our new operation," said Sean Tannehill, head professional at Cornerstone. "It certainly does match our high-end clientele – as we’re a new upscale, private golf and equestrian community that has opened up here in southwestern Colorado.”Also added to the arsenal, are opening orders from the King Kamehameha and Wailea Golf Clubs on Maui.
Chow also notes the dramatic retail response and multiple re-orders that Iconic has received from other Hawaiian accounts, including the exclusive Nanea Club, and the celebrated Hualalai Resort. “The goods are placed in both our golf shop, and at the members pro shop, where they’ve been very well received,” said Hualalai’s retail buyer, Jackie Calkins. “People are liking the fabrications, which are very lightweight, and the fit, which is awesome. We’ve done very well with this line, and we’re looking forward to expanding Iconic product within our shop.”
Iconic is seeking to add sales reps to the current team, and will be presenting the new 2008 Fall line in booth #8195 in the Club and Resort area of the Apparel section at the upcoming PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando. Iconic will also have featured items in the adjunct fashion show.
