Company Exhibiting in Multiple Locations Throughout the Week
AccuSport International, Inc. today announced a full week of activities during the 2008 PGA Show. The company will be exhibiting in multiple locations and venues throughout the week including sponsorship of two Pro-Pro Golf Tournaments, as well as the new Best Practices Club Fitting space at Demo Day.
AccuSport is the leading developer and marketer of golf swing launch monitors and its Vector Launch System is recognized throughout the golf industry for its accuracy, portability and affordability. Vector measures and analyzes launch angle, ball speed, backspin, side spin and side angle to instantaneously quantify the performance of both player and equipment. The Vector Pro model offers a fully integrated video swing analysis application for lessons, along with a student database for storing sessions.
"The 2008 PGA Show really presents a wonderful opportunity to showcase our products," said Don Thorup, President of AccuSport. "There are multiple events we are able to support since the Vector Pro Launch System works equally well both indoors and outdoors. No other system provides the versatility, portability and accuracy offered by the Vector Pro."
Thorup noted that the company will be a sponsor of two Pro-Pro Golf Tournaments on Tuesday, January 15th. The company will be set-up on course at Timacuan and Hunters Creek with its Vector Pro Launch System with integrated video swing analysis. Players will be able to hit shots, gather launch and ball flight data, and see a video of their swing.
"This hands-on experience is invaluable for the PGA Professionals," said Thorup. "Our sponsorship of these events allows us to get in front of several hundred PGA Professionals in the course of one day and really kick starts our show activities for the remainder of the week."
Thorup also mentioned that AccuSport is a Presenting Sponsor at the new Best Practices Club Fitting area at Demo Day on Wednesday, January 16th. "We were delighted when we were approached to be a Presenting Sponsor of the new Best Practices Club Fitting area. AccuSport’s value proposition has always been to support the club fitting efforts of our manufacturer, retail and PGA partners. This new venue will really provide a show case environment for our products as we further reinforce our position as the market leader in launch monitor and simulator technology."
Thorup went on to comment further about the company’s simulator product, Vector Links. "We entered the simulator segment a year ago via the introduction of Vector Links. This professional fitting tool is a further extension of the Vector platform and presented the first truly accurate ball flight in a simulator environment," Thorup stated. "We made the footprint very flexible so that PGA Professionals and golf shop owners could easily accommodate the simulator in a smaller space than what has traditionally been required. We like to say that you could install Vector Links in a closet if you wanted to, assuming you could actually swing in a closet."
The company will also be exhibiting throughout the week at Booth # 2028, in the Equipment Test Center and in Meeting Room 206-C. Training and information sessions will be offered in the meeting room throughout the week. A full schedule of events and training sessions is available on the company’s web site.
