HARVEST, Ala. (January 2, 2008) – Balance-Certified Golf, an acclaimed shaft tuning system which uses strategically-placed weights tailored to individual golfer’s needs, will debut their latest innovative technology, the “Shaft StabilizerTM”, at the 2008 PGA (Booth 2209), IPCA, and PCS golf shows. Attendees of the shows will have the opportunity to test and evaluate clubs equipped with this new technology first hand at several show booths and practice ranges. John Cranston, Balance-Certified Golf’s (BCG’s) head Tour Representative, will be on hand to answer questions and train fitters on the proper methods used to custom fit this new technology.

The Shaft StabilizerTM significantly improves swing consistency by optimizing the Moment Of Inertia (MOI) of the butt end of the club to maximize inertial stability. Improved swing consistency equates to more ball strikes with the club head’s sweet spot.

Jeff Lindner, BCG’s President, noted that “The Shaft Stabilizer is a natural extension of our existing patented technologies. It was inspired by our work on Tour with Scott Hoch and Tom Jenkins. In a nutshell, the Shaft StabilizerTM increases (MOI) of the butt end of any golf club by as much as 3031 g-cm2. The improved MOI increases the controllability of the club.”

Cranston added, “We are excited about providing our professional club fitters with NEW technology that will help them to build their reputations and, more importantly, generate repeat customers that return to their fitting centers time after time to receive the very latest technological advantage.”

Balance-Certified Golf, which is in use at many custom club fitting programs in the U.S. and abroad, was selected among the ‘Best of Show’ products by Golfing Magazine in its "2007 PGA Show Wrap-Up." Balance-Certified Golf is in use by many tour players, and is garnering praise for how its attention to golf club vibration and feel leads to more satisfied golfers of every playing ability. Tour players who use the Balance-Certified Pro-Balance system include Scott Hoch and Tom Jenkins. Phil White, long drive champion, also is a devotee of Balance-Certified Golf.

Balance-Certified Golf’s industry-leading back-weighting technology was developed by a former NASA engineering team in 1999. The Pro-Balance line introduces strategically-located weights that can be used to adjust a golf club’s vibration and response characteristics and can be installed on any brand of golf equipment and any club in the bag. Balance-Certified’s scientific approach to golf club dynamics helps transform "feel" into a definable and tunable parameter. Independent testing has demonstrated that the Balance-Certified Golf system delivers increased ball speed in drivers, greater iron play control and a tangible benefit in "feel" and distance control of putters.

Balance-Certified Golf’s Pro-Balance weighting system and power rings can be installed by club fitters or by individual golfers with the self-fit kit. Balance-Certified Golf systems can be found at many retail golf shops across the U.S. and elsewhere.
